Berri Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 1992

12,0 % alc

Color: dark red with no brike red on the edges

Nose: Typical maturity cabernet nose with sweet red pepper, some dark red fruits like blackberry, a bit of butter and little traces of spices available

Mouth: soft but not to less tannins with red fruits, a little wood and spices, short to middle finish

The end of life of this wine is near but i think the next 2-5 years is fun for the lover of ripe wine :)

Given you are in Germany I have to wonder if this was export wine. Berri wasn't particularly good back then but given the vintage is a year or two before the red wine boom it might have had some okay fruit in it but 1992 wasn't a great year. A lucky bottle - I think most of us round here would have expected it to be dead ten or more years ago.
