Reaching out to all the Perth forumites. I wanted to let you all know that we are attending Perth again in March to present a couple of dinners including our first dinner for Perth under $250pp. For all of you in Perth who read about some of the wonderful old wines we drink at the Rare Wine Dinners over in Sydney that are reported on in this forum, this is your opportunity to jump on board, try some superbly cellared vintage wines from around the world and get an introduction to what Rare Wine Dinners is all about. I have listed some details on the dinner below and of course more information is available on our website. Perth Rare Wine Dinner 29th March
Re: Perth Rare Wine Dinner 29th March
And I note there is one seat left for their top end dinner in Perth too. Wow, that's a serious lineup, I'm jealous!

And for those doubters, the provenance of these wines is impeccable, no dodgy resellers, nothing but cold long term european cellars, and proper cool shipping (often under wax capsules) to this part of the world. The track record of their previous dinners speaks for itself.
(yes, I'm friends with them, they do superb work)
Cheers

So TiggerK...stop being jealous. As you said, one seat left. See you in Perth?
Re: Perth Rare Wine Dinner 29th March
Wife's Birthday dinner that night, I suspect I would never be forgiven.

That Bordeaux dinner =
We should do a raffle for the last remaining seat!
$100 buy-in for 1/12 chance - not a bad punt!

I'm booked in for 29th. Looking forward to it, and experiencing Shannon's hospitality. And, of course, to meeting any members of this forum that might join us.
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Thats not a bad idea actually, now all you need to do is find 12 people prepared to lay a green back down for a 1 in 12 chance!
