Thought being the 10th, I'd start this thread.
For me one case each of:
2011 Mike Press Shiraz
2011 Mike Press Cabernet
and 2 bottles of 2010 Grant Burge Filsell

No Ross not yet. I've got a few half bottles of previously decanted 750ml french plonk to work my way through over the next 3 days. I'll try both the Shiraz and the Cab accross the weekend and report back.
I've purchased the last 3 vintages of both the cab and shiraz. Great QPR.

the riebke shiraz 2011

i haven't tried the 2010, this 2011 aren't bad for $17/$18, i liked on the 1st night , the aroma was rushing out from the bottle when i was still opening the screwcap, but the 2nd night most of the aroma are gone, good tannins , the 3rd night i enjoyed abit more, dark fruits , took me 5 days to finish that bottle. ( i used a vacuum stopper).

I have the 2010 Filsell and love it, very concentrated and blackberry flavours, will buy more also the Chris Ringland CR Shiraz also very full bodied and lots of dark fruits and leather aroma, very long lenght on the palate will also buy more. I would like to try the Mike Press but cant find it in any retail outlets near where I live. I would like to try a bottle before buying a case or two. Not sure if my descriptions are correct as am relativly new to wine but that is what I taste and smell.

I've a dozen of the cab 2011 ordered for $150 freight-free but not direct from the winery. Judy has, in the past, arranged for me to buy at the case price, delivered direct from the winery but I prefer not to bother her when I can source the wine for the same price elsewhere.

Congratulations. 2012 is a good year to have a young'un. Be easy to get great birth year wines, being such a good vintage. Once again, well done and I hope you feel OK the next day!
