After some good leads on reasonable quality restaurants in the Cairns / Palm Cove / Trinity Beach/Clifton Beach areas.

Prefer BYO, But flexible on cuisine !

Hi Ronaldo, there's a place next to the the cairns yacht called salt house, went there last year while was in cairns for h/day really impressive location food was very good, i had some charred grilled seafood from memory. wine list was good especially for nrth queensland would highly recomend if only for the location and atmosphere. I think they have a web site,www.salthouse.com.au ?. hope this helps.

Lovely food, pretty good wine list, private function room, not sure on BYO (they seem pretty knowledgeable so I'd certainly ask).

Unfortunately our dining partners preferred a pre dinner cocktail & the mere mails had a couple of cleansing ales
The wine list looked quite adequate, though.
Didnt bother negotiating on the BYO theme that night.
