TN Tahbilk 1860 Vines Shiraz 1990

A few weeks ago my wife and I opened a bottle of 2002 1860 vines in a Japanese restaurant and unfortunately finished the bottle before we finished the courses so we had to order another, heavy on the hip but absolutely beautiful on the palate
Since that night I have ordered quite a few dates of this wine and tonight we enjoyed the 1990
There was barely a hint of brown on the edges with a nose full of delightful spices, berries and plum. The most soft palate you could imagine, with great balance of acidity and silky smooth tannin. The finish is almost creamy and long lasting, as you can tell I'm really happy with this one, I might just open the 1991 tomorrow night
