TN Penfolds 707 1986

After a hard day at work I thought I should treat myself to something nice when I got home, so I decided on a well aged 707, great choice

Nose is really rich with fruit and cedar, and a really nice earthy tone, you can definitely taste the minty chocolate and I would love to open up another one of the other bottles I still have but I better save them for a future occasion when they are really needed :D

David....

p.s My wife brought me home some really nice chorizo to have with it; I am in total heaven at the moment

This was the first Australian wine I tasted that I was really impressed by. Others up to that point had been good qpr, but this stood out as being top flight. Unfortunately the $25 tariff was too steep for my modest budget back then. Glad to hear it is holding up well.

I have only a single bottle of 707.... an 86 Magnum.......
.
I have tried 707 curtesy of my Dad, but given its price point have only ever made the single purchase..........
.
I look forward to cracking this one day.
