I feel I owe an apology to Maximus & Uncorked. Whilst I don't agree with some of their sentiments, I reacted emotively & harshly. That was poor form and I'm sorry I resorted to personal attacks. My bad.

07 Wynns Black Label Cabernet - Halliday Top100 and 96 points.
It's remarkable the division between critics and (some of the) public on this wine.

Agreed! Most peculiar indeed! Not one critic talking this one down yet quite a few consumers not enamoured. Needs a taste-off a decade down the track

Great read about the 07 BL , I confess i bought some and found the wine light , no cooked fruit ,elegant and handles its alc well
I think its a 8 to 10 year myself and compares well to the 00 ? and thats drinking nicely now IMO .
Love the 08 wynns shiraz and for me that was a bargain for under 10 bucks, great depth of colour and will age nicely IMO
