Phill mentioned in one of the mysteriously deleted posts a couple of days ago that Travis has left, but you can email or call Mal Taylor or anyone else at Seppeltsfield's cellar door for that matter (anyone in the area can just drop in and try them by the way - they're all familiar with these specials and usually have them all open):
Rang Seppeltsfield to order some of the 98 VP and was told the following is now on sale - DP33 12 x 750ml $115 - DP63 6 x 750ml $140 - DP90 6 @ 500ml $295
Ive had the DP90 before but no experiance with the DP33 or DP63, any thoughts or comments?

The DP33 would be the equivalent of what is now known as the Cellar 8 Muscat, the DP63 the Grand Muscat - they're older bottlings with the Seppelt labels and 750ml bottles:
We tried the DP63 to finish off the AFWAC AGM last week - it's very rich and complex (probably from the couple of years in bottle), with date and chocolaty/tobacco characters that resemble more of a Tokay than Muscat.
On a side note, I was disappointed to hear the Rare Tokay (Topaque) will not be made anymore - once current stocks are gone, the (significantly more expensive) Paramount XO will be the only Tokay of anything like this standard to be available from Seppeltsfield.
For Peter Lehmann Futures Club members (used to be called Weighbridge Club) the price of the 1998 VP is currently $13, and it has a way to go so could be cellared with some confidence.
I see that the GR27 is now going for upwards of $30 a bottle on Grays now... Knew I should have picked up an extra couple of cases over an above what I wanted to drink. Not a bad return on investment.
