Mark,

I was thinking about Cheval Blanc and Clos L'Eglise ( a favourite of mine) but the 04 Grange release and an opportunity to buy some more 95 DP Oenotheque have killed the credit card. I probably will grab a few middle of the range Pomerols when they come out end of next year.

Small batches, all:

Pinots for winter.
German rieslings.
Grosset rieslings.

Hi all – am new to the forum and this is my very first post.

This month i have realised that due to my continued chipping away, my cellar has dwindled to below one hundred - as such i have purchased the following with the view to stock up over the next few months for future years:

12 x 2004 Zema Family Selection Cab Sav
10 X 2003 Majella Cab Sav
2 X 2003 Majella Malleea blend
6 X 2005 Katnook Cab Sav
1 X 2004 Katnook Odyssey Cab Sav (freebie from Vintage cellars!)
1 X 2001 Penfolds St Henri Shiraz (freebie from Vintage cellars!)
6 X 2007 Bowen Estate Cab Sav
6 X 2006 Cape Mentelle Shiraz
3 X 2006 Grant Burge Fillsel Shiraz
3 X 2006 Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz
3 X 2004 Jacobs Creek St Hugo Cab Sav
2 X 2006 Teusner Albert Shiraz
2 X 2008 Teusner the Riebke Shiraz
6 X 2006 Wynns Cab Sav ‘cellar release’ (bloody marketing departments...)
12 X 2007 Wynns Cab Shiraz Merlot (only 7 left already!)

I also recently opened a 2004 St Huberts Cab Sav which was lovely but it was waaay to early to open it. The next day the last 150 mills i left in the bottle over night had opened up a lot more - this bottle could go at least another 3 - 6 years... I should have known better but I just had to open something!

Now to save my pennies...
