Christmas / New Year drinking was as I expected, a few youthful Rieslings, but a clear stand out was a 2018 Luke Lambert Syrah from the Yarra Valley. A beautifully balanced and touch under medium weight wine, with lovely black pepper spice on the finish. Silky smooth on the palate. An excellent wine. Really wished I bought more of this at the time...
