One would imagine they must go by your receipt irrespective what a search engine uncovers.

I hope so. I'm bringing back a couple of dozen bottles of champagne (not available in Oz) that I got at excellent prices. I've kept the receipts and hopefully only get hit with WET/GST at the AUD equivalent, not current 'google prices'.

Simple - post somewhere the very low prices so the first google search entry shows these prices.

Half a Dozen 2010 Te Mata Estate Elston Chardonnay. Outstanding vintage. I wouldn't argue with anyone suggesting it is the best ever. It has real focus, concentration and morish palate. Fine ripe tightly wound acids. Vivaceous! Bargain top quality cellaring chardonnay. A no brainer. Why dish out $70-100 for other benchmarks when you can have this for less than $30!

Todays little trip to my favourite outlet provided for the following:
2 x Dutschke St Jakobi 2007
2 x Kaesler Cabernet 2008
2 x Wynns Black Label 2005
1 x Howard Park Scottsdale Shiraz 2008
2 x Turkey Flat Morvedre 2009
I am now sworn (to myself) not buy any wine for another 4 months minimum. This is after going on a previous buying spree on Colonial Estate, Songlines, Fraser Gallop Cab, and some Glaetzer Bishops. Cellar fridges are overflowing to the point of having a doz the lower $ value reds sitting on concrete and hoping the weather stays cool in Brisbane.

For me, the cellar is pretty much full. But the Chardonnay keeps emptying out faster than anything else. So, 6 or more each of:
2008 Voyager Estate
2010 Hoddles Creek
2008 Sandalford MR Reserve
2008 Plantagenet

Kies 06 Klauber Block.
I'm a regular buyer of their wine. I put a few mates together and we (generally) purchase from them in ten case lots.
They have never let us down and always chuck in a couple extras to try.
I share those extras with the boys on pick up night and we get some of those on the next purchase.
They have always been very good to me and i pitch their product to everyone. (See what i did there).

Thanks GW. I see some more 07 being snuck into the cellar as a birth year wine. I have been thinking about the Italians for my baby girl as well. I had a 98 Haut Batailley last month at a Bordeaux lunch to celebrate the birth of friend's baby boy last year. For a supposedly off year, it was a superb wine: elegant, refreshing, gently balanced fruit. I took along a Grand Puy Lacoste 2005 from my son's birth year. Though far too young, it will be a superb wine. Wonderful finish that really, even at this early stage, went on and on.

Had it last month too.
Pretty, aromatic, cedar and vanilla - some cowshed as a positive.Violety. Fresh, not a lot of depth but charming enough. A bit drying on the finish (this bottle). Certainly in the zone, if not fading a little. reddish fruit too. 90-91

Picked up a couple of 2009 Henschke Henry's Sevens as it is supposed to be low in preservatives. Will give one a go this weekend. Was originally after the 2008 but they had changed over to the 2009.
Have to save the pennies as we have a week of predominantly semillon tasting (and buying) at the Hunter the week after next!

Picked up 2 x Grosset Springvale 2009 for locally reasonable price.
If anyone (based in Singapore) interested in some good wines at reasonable prices being offloaded by a local e-tailer, PM me.
Cheers~!
