cant agree more

people keep chardy way too long. I dont think anything in NZ gets better after 3 years with possible exceptions of elston, cloudy bay and neudorf moutere which may still be at peak at 5 years.

97 neudorf moutere is at the peak of its powers now.

A Penfolds 95A Chardonnay was drinking beautifully last year. Ditto an Eileen 96. Meadowbank Grace Elizabeth 95 was fading.

I'm looking forward to trying a Penfolds 00A at about eight years of age...it's amazing stuff now.
