Hunter Valley and some areas in Victoria were good, the rest so so.

Not in SA. Superb in Bordeaux though....

Ditto Mike's comments (wet wet wet) although Coonawarra wasn't too shabby. I've had plenty of good cabs.

1996 E&E Black Pepper Shiraz - smooth, elegant, lost most of its primary fruit, but etherial in its loveliness. No decanting and did improve for a couple of hours and found myself licking the bottom of the glass. Simply wonderful but if you have any left I wouldn't wait too long.
