Have tried the 1996 Tarlant before and it was stunning, fingers crossed on the Duval Leroy.

If the price is right, or the wine is good, I'll buy in quantity. From memory I bought 40 bottles of the 96 Dom and 30+ of 98 Rockford Basket Press shiraz.

A normal purchase is a 6 pack, though champers tends to be by the dozen(s).

Redwine,

What a delightful list of wines. If they were properly cellared my guess is that the '83 Cote Rotie, the '73 Rioja, and '75 Beerenauslese will be fabulous. And all the Burgundies are from reputable producers.

Recently I've tasted a '75 Rioja, and '82 Burgundy and a '71 Auslese and they were all very good.

If I had those wines there certainly would be happy drinking.

Cheers.................Mahmoud

Mahmoud

I tried the Cote Rotie last weekend. First, after being open for about half an hour, it tasted a bit metallic. So I waited another hour and it opened up and turned out to be a real wonderful wine with a lot of power despite the age. So I am really looking forward to tasting the others.

Cheers.

Crikey Mike!! How much do you drink or is it not all for personal consumption?

I'll drink the RBPS over the next 12 years and the Dom over the next 30 years (though I pulled the cork on way too many bottles of the Dom when it was released).
