Moving wine from cupboard to fridge

Post by pcjm »

Hey Everyone,

I am getting a wine fridge for the first time and need to move my collection from the cupboard where is stored in polystyrene boxes to the fridge. My question is:

Will moving the wine from the cupboard (current temp 23 degrees) to the fridge (probable temp 14 degrees) cause problems with the corks with such a sudden temp change.

Any advice would be greatly appeciated

Cheers

Paul

No, just do it.
If still worried, set the fridge to about 18 intially and then drop it down.
Cheers

Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)
