Strathbogie wineries

Post by Chrisp »

I'll be passing through the Strathbogie wine area in a couple of weeks and would love to visit a few cellar doors. I'd welcome any recommendations from the experts - my own browsing has identified Maygars Hill, Plunkett Fowles and Elgo Estate.
Cheers

i'm no expert and have never been to Strathbogie,

but you If you're not in a hurry - it's well worth crossing the high way to visit the Nagambie and may be Heathcote regions - perhaps on your way south...

if you're visiting Nagambie, you can't miss Tahbilk, Mitchelton does good lunch, or the Emu Inn in Heathcote where you can taste some local wines and the French Chef (I hope he's still there) does decent lunch.

btw, welcome
