It's doin the rounds on ERP already - looks like it' might just be the real deal, err, *cough*cough* - bad choice of words there.

Wine Spectator has posted a response to this sting or scam (depending on which side you are on).

It was certainly an elaborate hoax, perhaps a little too elaborate. But seeing as the entry fee was $250 I'd expect a little more effort on the part of WS to make sure that there is a restaurant!

EDIT: My copy of Gourmet Traveller - Wine arrived this week with a little booklet on Wine List of the Year Awards 2008. I'm assuming all the places listed exist! :twisted:
