The last released was the sensational 99 although there has been at least 1 subsequent bottling at least, but where has/have it/they gone???

Yeah I drank cases of that as it was 50% discounted in NZ. Lovely stuff.
Where is it now - answers on a postcard to PO Box 707 or PO Box 389 :x.
Actually, now I wonder if it went into that Penfolds Cellar Reserve Barossa Cabernet 2005 that Ian mentioned in his Magill post ... there's a thought.

Some brands do recover though. Saltram seems a good case to me. Also Seppelt.

Believe it or not, the very thought did cross my mind that it was like a very young Dorrien - a couple of years ago someone from within Southcorp said on one of the forums that a 2005 vintage had been made, and was planned to be the rebirth of the label after such a long absence since 1999. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Cheers,
Ian

A couple have made come backs like Hardys Tintara and Seppelt Moyston. Lindemans Hunter River may yet survive but that is probably line ball after years of terrrible management. I suppose the list is long Woodleys maker of the famous treasure chest now barely remembered by Queen Adelaide.

When has something died and when merged into something else?
What do you mourn the loss of? :(

Ah I rember those well . You drank the last , thought that you would save it for me , :(

I remember with fondness the Yaldara Rich Old Port

and

Old Dolcetto port
Chardonnay: A drink you have when there is no RED wine, the beer hasn't arrived and the water may be polluted
