bought a six pack of wine from auction last week and just found them 2 of them have quite low ullage and 4 of them are leaking. opened 2 bottles of them. corks horribly shrink and both are spoiled.
just wonder whether the auction house will do the refund?
or should I contact the wineries instead?

G'day Seven - presume the wine is an older vintage?
Any auction house is obliged to accurately describe the condition of goods offered for sale. If there was no mention of the bottles' low ullage or leakage, they were remiss, and you have a strong claim for a refund (they may ask you to return the remaining bottles - if so, this should be at their cost)
Contacting a winery is for when you get a 'corked' (TCA affected) bottle - from your description (shrunken corks, leakage) these wines have been poorly stored, probably standing up for years on a shelf in non-temp controlled place, so nothing to do with the winery.
