Hi there, new to the forum & after any feedback on current vintage of Hoddles Crk, both Pinot & Chardonnay.
Have tried 05 Pinot & liked it very much. Not tasted Chardonnay but interested in any reports from other forumites.

The 2006 has just been released and Franco thinks it is the best Pinot Noir he has made. It probably has more in common with 2004 (slightly brighter fruits than 2005) and should cellar really well.
The 2006 Chardonnay is drinking well now and should hold for another 5 years or so. I drank a bottle of the 2003 (which won best White at the Vic Wine Show and Halliday gave 96 points) and it has years ahead of it. The 06 should develop along similar lines.
We have also decided to hold our pricing (ie no price increases) across the board which we are really happy with. The only downside is that we anticipate that we will have stocks at the winery for another 6 weeks and then that will be about it. Gav will get a good amount so if you want 06 Hoddles, better hit gave for some
Pinot Gris 2007 will be about in about 6 weeks.

I had the 06 Pinot a few weeks back and it is a ripper!
I have had half a case of the 03 Chard over the past few months and it has hardly moved since release. I could see it going another 3-5 years in a canter but unfortunately I only have a six pack left and I doubt they will get past this summer. If the 06 Chard is along these lines I may have to get more than the case I have just picked up.
