Grays On-Line
My bolding:
"As the Heritage Fine Wine stock is a liquidation, GraysOnline normal wine sale "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" does not apply to items in this sale. However, the vast majority of the wines have been stored in optimum conditions using professional wine storage warehouses, where temperature, humidity, exposure to light and security are all tightly controlled. Due to the age of some of the wines and the nature of the stock, no guarantees as to the actual drinkability of any of the wines can be made by GraysOnline or Crouch Insolvency. All lots are sold on an "as is" basis."

This is $14 at BWS!!!
I know I need to let this go because we all know how ridiculous it is but....
1995 Bin 28 - 1 bottle - $84
That's 1995!!!
** Especially ridiculous, since Langtons exchange have the 1999 for $18pb at the moment

Me too! And some 2002 Black Dog for $23 all up, plus some Ch Leamon Reserve Shiraz 2001/2002 at under $23 all up. I'm pretty happy with those buys.
Cheers

Bargain buys on Grays
I've made two good recent purchases through Grays: a dozen Cathcart Ridge Estate Grampians Reserve Shiraz 2004 for about $20 bottle and recently a dozen Secret Places (Kilikanoon) Barrossa Valley Shiraz 2002 for $20 bottle. Great wines, excellent prices.

With the ridiculous prices being paid who is to say that Grays have not set up dummy bidders to bid up prices. Has been happening for years in the real estate market, and is even easier to do online.

I bought a 6-pack of the Cathcart Ridge late last year too, thought it was a bit bretty, at least too much for my low tolerance. Gave the remainder away to people who don't mind that.
