Any recommendation for Cabernet Sauvignon?

Post by Anonymous »

My family and I have been trying out wines from all over the place, and still nothing beats Australian wine!! Yahoo!!

So far the wines that we have tried are Jacob's creek, Wolf Blass, Yellow Tail. I've been trying to get cheap and good wine so that we can enjoy during festive seasons when the whole family comes over. Any recommendation :?:

d0pey26, your user registration will probably be deleted, check the message at the top of this forum for user name rules.

Your IP address indicates Singapore, if that is correct it would be better to give us a list of what you have access to and we might be able to suggest which ones to try.
Cheers
Brian
Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)

Majella Cabernet from Coonawarra will be as good as any Cabernet you'll try. Should be available in Singapore.

If you can see through it, it's not worth drinking!

Crystal WInes has Pirramimma 2002 Stocks Hill for $35 which should be worth a try.

Actually would merlot be nicer to drink? I know for some wines the Merlot are less dry than others. However the Cabernet Sauvignon are always very dry. And due to the Singapore weather, when it is not chilled, dry wines taste awful!!
