ways to annoy your wife #37

"While we are in Adelaide do you mind if we drop into a cellar door?"

Ms Albus did not think an hour and a half lining up at Noon's on a 36°C day constituted an ideal activity for our three month old son.

And then we were running late for lunch so did not even get to taste.

But the cellar door folk were lovely and we now have six bottles safely stowed away for the future.

I find their pricing intriguing. Wickman have six bottles of the reserve shiraz at $95 a pop at the moment ($25 for those on the mailing list or those prepared to join in the queuing fun). I for one would be prepared to pay a few dollars more for a shorter time in the sun.

They should have 2 queues...the $50 line and the $25 line...same produce, less wait ;)

as i said, the Noon people were lovely - and a nice shadey spot was found for wifey and the little'un and a few others in the same boat

so in the end i was not really in that much trouble at all

certainly much less trouble than after #36, but this is the wrong forum for that
