I haven't posted much lately, but this wine demands it.

Tasted from Magnum.

Dark purple color with a hint of reddening. Doesn't look as evolved as a previous bottle. Glorious nose of dark cherries, flowers, plums and melted chocolate. Flavors of dark cherries, plums, milk chocolate, vanilla, almonds and spice. Finish that lasts minutes. Over twelve hours later, I can still remember exactly how this wine tasted.

Rated as Outstanding.

Years ago, I got 4 mags of this at a closeout for a ridiculously low price (if you are reading this, thanks Paul). Over the years, I opened these for parties, but kept one for a long weekend to savor myself. Other mags
would have rated Recommended (the previous, opened 1 1/2 years go) to Excellent. This one was easily the best, though. A fantastic wine drinking at its prime.
