any advice on where I can get a bottle or three of the 2002 vintage Wirra Wirra RSW? Either in Sydney or an e-tailer. I will be visiting Adelaide over the June long weekend if there is an Adelaide store as well.
I've tried most places I can think of and no-one seems to have it in stock anymore
Tried the Wirra Wirra cellar door a few weeks ago and had no luck - sold out. They told us as soon as Halliday rated it his equal top wine of last year it flew out the door. The 2003 was good enough for us to buy a couple of bottles though.
Other than that, have been keeping my eye out over the past couple of months with no joy. Let me know if you have any luck - very keen to get my hands on some as well.
The Wirra Wirra RSW 2002 is actually one of the best wines I have ever had. This may say something about my modest experience and limited budget, but I find it absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately got only 1 bottle left.
There is a small boutique internet wineshop in Germany that still sells some, but there may be only very few bottles left. I am very tempted to buy them but will have to move to another continent soon. Otherwise it is difficult to find over here too... so scuzzii, enjoy it!
