Still very dark colour with some slight bricking at the edges, a strong nose of mainly menthol with a touch of mint and vanilla. Palate is quite one dimensional, and although the best thing about this wine is it's initial silky mouthfeel, the predominant heat on the back palate and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Does not carry the alcohol well, unlike the Yaldara Farms Shiraz from the same year I had recently ( both stated same at 15%) where the lovely fruit carried it with ease.
Not a terrible wine but not dissapointed this was my last bottle.
