TN; Keith Tulloch Semillon 2002

Post by Grant Dodd »

One of the best young semillons I have tried in along time. Youthful greenish hues in the glass, typical Semillon nose of cut grass, lemon and lime with a fresh and lively palate. Subtle and intrigueing barrel ferment characters just wafting around in the background adding to quite a complex wine. Very good length and a classy finish. An excellent wine and highly recommended at $25 per bottle.

Cheers

Michel,

Tasted at cellar door on Sunday(Small Winemakers Centre) in the Hunter. Not sure about the vineyard,I think he sources fruit from all over the place. Very small quantities made, high attention to detail. Not sure if it is for sale in QLD,worth a phone call though to check. His chardannay was very good also.

Cheers

According to Keith, all Keith Tulloch wines are Pokolbin fruit, but I'm not sure if they're all estate grown.
