Victorian floods Wineries
Any news on how they are faring? Looking at flood maps, Rutherglen, Beechworth, Heathcote, Grampians, Goulburn Valley, Macedon to name a few, all seem affected.

I wonder how the 1860 Vines are looking, trying to get my bearings from the picture, the old vines were kind of on the main driveway in and to the left or thereabouts? So based on that that is about 2'oclock in the photos, and it looks as if about 5-10% of the vineyard is already underwater.

More than that! Hm. I was supposed to get a case of Shiraz/Marsanne sent out to me today (I asked for it to be delayed as I didn't want it to arrive in the rain!) I hope everyone is OK.dave vino wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 11:29 am I wonder how the 1860 Vines are looking, trying to get my bearings from the picture, the old vines were kind of on the main driveway in and to the left or thereabouts? Do vines survive a swim, or is all lost?

Vines should be fine (presuming not too much washed away)
Flooding has been a feature of Langhorne Creek https://www.victorharbortimes.com.au/story/4 ... nk-photos/
