2021 Mount Mary Mailer

Post by I Love Shiraz »

Anyone purchased from the 2021 Mount Mary mailer?

I decided to go 2 x 2019 Quintet. Unfortunately I couldn't afford more than that.

I normally order the minimum 6 to stay on the members table - with Wendouree orders being cut this vintage I splurged and ordered 8 this year…. 4 x Quintet, 2 x Chardonnay, 1 x PN, 1 x Triolet

Received on Monday - I stuck to my 6 bottle allocation of 3x Quintet and 3x Pinot, but tempted to go back for some magnums and a few 375ml's to taste in the short term.

Have the email but waiting for the final paper version, which I think I get! Will consider.
They're really very good value. I look at Quintet pricing beside John Riddoch, Diana Madeline, Bin 707/169, Moss Wood, Domaine A and it's pretty stark the difference in class, at least to me.

$135 per bottle if on the mailing list. Cheaper if in the Members club.

What is the actual benefit of Members Table?

Prices appear to be the same as for generic members.

Looking up this thread it seems to be $10 a bottle?

Paper based mailer arrived yesterday.
Good to see that David has inherited much of the old man's (Dr John) gumption and tells it like it is.
Whilst I think the 19s will be the last purchase, "unfortunately" the 2021 vintage report seems very favourable, just as it was in Clare, BV and Coonawarra
