Love it Dave (and thanks everyone for the nice comments), it's true that growing up in Invercargill, that was my general reaction to sunshine. And by the time I realised it held tanning potential, 5 mins later it was raining again.

You are fortunate you are not celebrating a birthday in Melbourne. I am turning 50 in late September and highly doubt I will be able to celebrate it with loved ones. I have some smart wines at the ready but......
Life is too short to drink rubbish wine.
