Found a brilliant summer white for an ever so modest price. It's Spanish, a blend of Garnatxa Blanca (60%), Chardonnay (25%), and Sauvignon Blanc (15%). It has a bit of age on it, being a 2015, and though it might be different from what it might have been when young it is still very fresh, dry, and with plenty of acidity. It featured a lime/grapefruit, green apple nose and palate and we drank a few bottles in the early evening as an aperitif with cheese and crackers. Then I discovered that a day later an open bottle had put on weight, having turned richer on nose and palate, becoming quite complex and alluring.

So we went back to the store and cleared out their last 8 bottles:

Best I could find in a short time frame. Not Sangiovese...

I have zero experience with Rosé. In fact, I can't ever recall drinking it unless it was a bubbly.
