Help to track down Ridge Lytton Springs

Post by WineRick »

Does anybody know who might import Ridge wines into Australia. I'm after a few bottles of the Lytton Springs Petit Syrah for a Durif tasting coming up. Thanks in advance.

Think it's under one of those Coles/Wesfarmers offshoots, James Busby Fine Wines maybe .. so good luck with that.

Cam is right. I've heard nobody currently imports Ridge, which is a shame. But coles owns a particular big-name liquor retailer who's name I'm forbidden from mentioning in these parts, and that's where random vintages of Lytton Springs Zinfandel field blend (feat. petit sirah) can still be found. Never seen a 100% Petit sirah bottled as Lytton Springs though, that might be hard to find.

Thanks guys - just got an email back from Ridge advising they don't have an Australian importer ... yet. So it looks as if we'll be looking at Aussie durifs only. However the '71 Gayfer Chiltern V.P. (durif) should be good.

Drink the wine, not the label.
