I've searched high and low for any notes on the 2001 E&E Black Pepper, anyone tried this?

Thanks,

Is the 2001 out yet?

Being rather busy and rather tired I started writing a note for the 1991:
I've had one in the past 12 months but have to go from a faulty memory. Smooth rich wine very well put together but the oak has overwhelmed the fruit - a bit too much of the vanilla milkshake and not enough fruit character. Would rate higher if you like alot of oak but probably scrapes a highly recommended - should hold or improve for some time.

I am pretty sure they are available within a week.

Here is the tasting note from BRL:
WINEMAKER STUART BOURNEÂ’S COMMENTS:
COLOUR: Deep brick red with flashes of earthen.

BOUQUET: Intense cherries, plum, chocolate and coffee with an imparting presence of well-integrated oak.
PALATE: Powerful yet smoothly ripe. A backbone of well-modulated tannins and rich mouth filling fruit derive a silky texture and a great measure of elegance.
CELLARING: Stunning now, patience rewarded for up to seven years.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The picturesque village of Ebenezer was founded in the northern region of the Barossa Valley in 1851. The first vineyards at Ebenezer were established at the time of settlement and have been painstakingly nurtured ever since. It is from these vineyards that the Barossa Valley Estate Ebenezer range was born.

WHATÂ’S THE DIFFERENCE?:
Fruit for the Ebenezer range of wines are picked predominantly from low cropping Barossa vines ensuring that the wines are rich and full bodied with intense varietal and regional character.

The fruit for the Ebenezer 2001 Shiraz was sourced predominantly from the older vineyards in the northern area of the Barossa Valley. Grapes were hand harvested from vines up to fifty years of age, yielding one to two tonnes per acre. Traditional winemaking techniques were employed to ensure fruit intensity and length.
