Finally installed some racks.

Post by Teddy »

Here some pics of some racks I have made. Still have a bit to do, but finally have some organisation going on.

Looks good but will it be enough?

No it won't be enough, but plenty more room for more racks, just building them as I need them now. Quite a lot of work in those racks so will have a bit of time off before making some more.

I've made all the frames out of 95x30 vic ash, all biscuit joined and stainless screws, then have used 100x100 gal mesh for the racking which is recessed in on all sides. Then the mesh has some wire tied through out the panel to stop it spreading. On the ends I have also used a 25x25 mm gal mesh just for looks so you can see the labels and to keep the whole "raw timber and steel theme going.

Nice rack! (can't believe no one got there before me).
Seriously though they look a treat.
