Celebrating paying off the mortgage!! So help me. Something to open and drink with the leader of the opposition. 1996 Dom or 1996 Cristal? I can't decide!!!

Hard to help.

LOVED the 1996 Dom, think it will be superb currently, however, I've not been lucky enough to try the Cristal.

Congrats on the mortgage, and let us know how the Cristal was!

.

I had the 96 Dom about a year and a half ago and it was SO young and very acidic. A 96 Lanson was a lot more approachable and enjoyable. Although the Cristal will probably be the same.

But most importantly, congrats on paying off the mortgage. That's something to be celbrated, that's for sure.
Cheers,
Kris

After everything has been said, done and dusted ... why don't you go for the Cristal.

Sorry, I completely missed your post.
Cheers,

Cris is the better choice as i think the DP will hit greater heights in the future.

Probably a bit late, but agree with the rest of the forum. Opened a '96 Cristal last xmas and reckon it was drinking around it's peak, whereas when I last drank a '96 Dom around 18 months ago it was fresh as a daisy.

What did you go with Craig?

Tony
