Craiglee wines

Post by Chad »

Hi there everyone

Could anyone shed some personal light on the wines from Craiglee in Sunbury Victoria for me? I have read JH notes, which are glaringly favourable, but I was hoping for peoples experience on their wines. I have been tempted in the past without buying any, but the temptation is rearing it's head once more. I think I will get a bottle form the local and check it out for myself anyway.

Thanks in advance for your notes/experience if you provide it.

Cheers
Chad

I've had an 06 and I think 08 Shiraz. Very much worth tasting and well worth cellaring.

One of my favourites.

Shiraz is wonderful. age treats it well, shiraz-viognier 08 drinking luxuriantly now.

Cellar door drips with history and authenticity.

Have really enjoyed their Chardonnay's as well (07 was a stand out for me).

Could not agree more, even the poorer vintages, not that Pat has had many, seem to find their way.
I love these wines, have them from 94-04.
I would recommend buy any that you can get!! :D :D

Great way to bring up my 100th post
