I'm guessing it's stuffed but if you get another go to a kitchen store and grab a fridge thermometer for about $10. Works a treat.

Most memorable thread: anything by Lordson or with Lordson's name in it somewhere Bless him! where's he gone? I don't know and don't care. I found him on a photography forum I go on whilst digging through old threads... must be a troll for sure. Only going by the small post count and content that i...

If your just talking about the shed you can still pick up a plain zinc plated 3x3 for about $600.

Nice story too Allan.

My thoughts on the wine as well very smooth and rich. I grabed a bottle from the local Dans a few months back and shared with my FIL and he was really impressed as well. Since getting that first bottle (covered in dust) only one other bottle has been sold and that was my BIL. The FIL must has come a...

From what i've found the good aged ones usually offer a 100ml bottle and thats all i'm after. I'll try the Black Pearl but alot of little gourmet shops have gourmet prices . A very old aged balsamic can cost $100+ per bottle and is almost treacly. I seen some on a US site and they were $180 for a 1...

There are a lot of quality levels and ages, are you after the aged stuff for special occasions or a good everyday one? For everyday use the Mazzetti 4-leaf version at the chains is a very good balsamic and quite reasonably priced. I've got the Mazzetti 4 leaf for everyday use but wouldn't mind gett...

Quality Balsamic Vinegar

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows a good online store to get quality Balsamic from? I've done a search on the net but can only find wholesale lists or overseas shops.

TN Meera Park Shiraz voignier 2006

Hi all,

Edit: don't know what i was doing it's actually 05

Tasted this 2 night ago. Fruity aroma from the voignier i'd guess but pleasant none the less. Medium bodied good acid and good length. Not much oak and all seemed to intergrate well.

TN d'arenberg The Galvo Garage 2004

Hi all, can't really pick the things you guys do in wine but i'll go at it anyway just excuse the poor quality . Very aromatic in the glass. Medium bodied, i'd guess, and very spicy and oakey. The spice taste seemed to settle and balance in with the fruit and oak and the wine came together more on d...

Cleanskins

Hi all,

Can somebody tell me why some cleanskins are $3 and why some are $16. Surely if someone was going to drop $16 on a bottle they would go with a tried and tested as opposed to a guess and check :? ?

Has it got some thing to do with a better tax deal maybe?

Thanks
