Re: Barolo and Barbaresco Dinner. 4 May

My wines will be Vecchie Vigne Sori' Paitin Barbaresco 2004, and a young Barolo (2007) from Podere Ruggeri Corsini San Pietro.

Btw, what time on Wednesday night?

Re: Day trip tp Priorat, Spain

We might bumped into each other in Priorat as I was there from 6th -8th Apr. I have to say the coffee from Clos Figueras was the best I have ever tasted in Europe! Almost as good as you can find in Australia.

Re: Barolo and Barbaresco Dinner. 4 May

No problem with the $95 menu, as long as the food is good. I was back from UK+Spain, still in holiday mode. Could you please confirm which restaurant it is going to be? What is the address?

Re: March Sydney Offline: Burgundy vs. The World

I'll take a train to Central then take the tram. About 5 minutes walk from the Glebe light rail station anyway.

I can make it on Thursday but not on Friday. I'll keep an eye on your final decision. Cheers.

Re: March Sydney Offline: Burgundy vs. The World

Thanks. I'll keep checking and see whether I can join in. I probably will drink this one for now, and get a different one for the tasting. Very interested in the difference among them. ;)

Re: March Sydney Offline: Burgundy vs. The World

Hi catchnrelease, if it's fully booked, can I please be in your waiting list? I'm very keen on this. Maybe we put down which designation of Burgundy red/white we have got, so that we don't duplicate the wines? E.g. I have got a 1er Cru Chambolle-Musigny. Each area will have their own characteristics...

Re: Sparkling Red recommendations?

Coates would be good, very well balance.
Black Queen from Peter Lehmann, off dry, fine bubbles, around $40, very hard to get from retail shop.
