Yeah, tried that before I posted- search gets a lot of posts about people taking wine out of the fridge etc etc but nothing of use to me...link to previous discussion anyone?

Hi folks

It seems like its been a while since there was a discussion about wine fridges...I'm currently in the market for something around the 200+ bottle capacity to replace the cellar I lost when we moved to a Melbourne apartment. Recommendations or general comments welcome.

I don't know about the Warrabilla. I had some 2004 last year and it was very well advanced, starting to lose the fruit..

2001 Rockford Basket Press with dinner...oddly enough, although pleasant didn't seem to have much of the presence that I've had from other bottles of this vintage. Just seemed a little bland. Decanted for an hour prior to drinking. Only have 3 left, so will be interested if they prove more memorable..

Partner and self would be very interested in catching up with the Melbourne offliners in the very near future...moving from Canberra to Melbourne in early December (but cellar won't be arriving until the weather cools down...)

A 2004 Turkey Flat Grenache did the trick for me...excellent now, and no sign of it going over the edge any time soon..

Hi folks, just joined up, so be gentle! I need to move my modest cellar (about 14 doz after some selling and serious drinking/pruning) from under the house to the Abbotsford (Vic) Kennards. Can anyone advise of a reliable freight service that will get it there in one piece? I need to do it soon befo...
