Tuesday Quiz

What am I? Described as being big and bold, I’m from an individual site, grown in shallow dirt with good sunlight. I’m matured in mostly new French barrels and I'm reasonably expensive. My region is renowned for my variety. I also have a 'partner' who sees a bit of Viognier.

You're right Michael, Belarus and Ukraine are part of Europe. I intended to go with Asia for Georgia simply to make the quiz more difficult, but was thwarted!
