lay them on their side?

put a whole bunch of extra masking take across the top of the box before flipping it up?

put them in new cases (i.e. go to Dan's or somewhere and ask for some boxes, then pick out the stronger ones)

Ric,

www.tio.com.au

make a complaint - the best thing is, the telco/isp has to pay the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman to investigate it!

Tasing Oz #1 - Your Notes Please

Thanks to everyone who came to the chat tonight, and thanks in advance to anyone who posts a tasting note in the following days. It was great to see people taking the time to find and taste this wine, giving us an Australia-wide perspective on a single wine. My own view: Nice medium purple colour, n...

Wine Fridge ... AT TARGET?

Certainly not what I was expecting in the Target catalogue, but a 24 bottle 'wine fridge' for $249.00. It talks about adjustable temperature, but not about vibration or humidity, but it would be interesting to check it out ...

TORB, It certainly is interesting. The thing that has amazed me is where: 1. someone has tasted a wine and really liked it. they have the chance to buy some in good quantity at a good price, but hold off to have their view 'confirmed' by Parker. OR 2. someone reads a detailed TN posted to the forum,...

Murray, That's a good call on the prices. As an interesting side, the consistent producers in tassie all seem to have decided that $60+ is now the standard asking price for their wines, after the stellar 2000 vintage (my faves from this year - 1 panorama, 2 no regrets, 3 freycinet. my faves from 200...

radioactiveman, this is a complex question, and a damn good one i'm not sure if its the winery you are talking about radioactiveman, but the clonakilla mailer arrived today, with the shiraz viognier at $59/pb there are two reasons why i will still buy this wine at this price, despite the fact it has...

I think I know which shop you are talking about, radioactiveman(tm) - 1997 Great Western Shiraz for $29.99 per bottle at the moment, if it's the same one

I have seen a bucketload of the 97 John Riddoch and Michael hanging around - can't even sell the stuff at $49!
