Thanks for notes Ian,
What do you or anyone else think is the best Grosset Springvale vintage of the last few years?

Viking Wines Odin,s Honour 2002

Anyone had this wine recently and got any advice on drinking window and decanting time.
How does it compare in quality and style with other Barossa cab/syrah in the same price bracket?

It is the Warner vineyard Giaconda.
The Yarra Yering 2002 was given 96 points by James Halliday but unsure whether too young.
Any more feedback appreciated.

Jim Barry Mcrae Wood Shiraz 2003

Hi I have bought a case of this after reading a great review by Jamie Goode and noting the awards it has won.
Has anyone tasted it yet and have any idea on drinking window ? Presume it needs a few years but I gather from Jamie its great now ,even though he did not decant it.

was the Giaconda Warner Vineyards shiraz in this tasting? Surely one of the greatest wines made in Australia.
